His mercies are new every morning
When I was 20, I spent New Years Day in the hospital. I was in and out of the ER and doctor appointments through January and February, debilitated with pain and hardly able to leave bed. Eventually I underwent major abdominal surgery. Recovery has been a bumpy road. With this trial added to several other existing health conditions, I have learned a lot about the faithfulness of God. He is aware of my every need, and He provides.
For the love of writing
I began writing novels as soon as I learned how to write. By age 14, I had several books over 30,000 words. By age 20, over a dozen past 50,000.

Work and play
I have worked at a LEGO store, and as a canvasser and phone banker for a nonprofit, and as event security staff. My hobbies include reading, collecting LEGO mini-figures, bass guitar, cleaning and organizing, walking my dog, and studying languages and psychology.
In all of time and space
I began writing the Paradox Series at age fourteen. I was working at a blueberry farm at the time which can be quite monotonous; thinking up story ideas helped the time fly by. Even though Paradox is science fiction, at the time, I had never read or watched a science fiction story.

FAQ
Are you continuing the Paradox series? Yes! Alchemist of Eternity and Rendova, books 1 and 2, are being re-released with edits and new covers in 2024. The next two books are also written and should follow shortly, and I am well into writing the final half of the series.
What’s the targeted age for your books? For Paradox, think YA: it is written with pre-teens, teens, and early twenties in mind, and may be intense or scary for some readers 12 and under. However, the content is clean and appropriate for any age. My other books vary individually from children’s to general.
Are you still associated with Willamina Studios? Not currently. Willamina Studios is on indefinite hiatus. I am currently self-published.
Are you associated with the Helland Family? I’ve seen their music on YouTube/in concert. Yup! You can find videos of my family singing on YouTube, including my channel. You can also find my brother’s farming channel, or look up my sister’s art on Instagram.
